		<description>I really don&#039;t know what to tell you, maybe get a job at a print shop if you want to cut corners. I am in one of the best Canadian privitized arts Universities, NSCAD. It was like jumping through hoops to get in, but I worked at a photo shop for a few years with a digital department. I would guess my portfolio is easily a grand retail cost anyway.

Not to discourage you but the percentage that gets into my school is maybe 3% of all applicants. From what I know they won&#039;t even consider you. It may be detremental to your scholastic career to make assumptions like you don&#039;t need a portfolio. Yes you can apply the next year again, but they won&#039;t forget your name. I would wait a year and build up a solid portfolio if it was me.</description>
